Do You Like This New Header?

So I was thinking that I should do a new header, since the one that's on the site was made for a time when the site was just for my novel Shaded. In the recent poll I did, as to if I should post reviews and other posts or not, all 22 votes said YES. It was a very unanimous decision, and I will humor that. This new header is done with the help of all the stock providers from Deviant-Art whom I owe a million and whom I will credit in the new and upcoming ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS page on the blog. I sort of like this- and I want to know if you do! If a lot of people do, I will put it as the new Header on the blog and change the layout! (Looks a little smushed because it is smaller than the original size. Click to see the original size!)

  1. I have to be honest here.... The new header is very nice, but I do prefer the one you have now. Maybe it's the colors -- I LOVE this particular shade (no pun intended, lol) of blue!! It's just very, very beautiful!! Also, the girl's stance is very dynamic, showing that she's a strong person.

Maybe you could modify your existing header by putting in the additional words you have on the new one.

But this is just my opinion. It IS your blog, after all. I simply wanted you to know that I LOVE your current header, as well as your blog layout, and that beautiful BLUE background!!!! : )

  2. Thanks Maria! Maybe I'll keep the blue header and use the greenish one when I start work on the second part of the series...
Thanks Aylee and Lu: it feels great to be appreciated!

  3. You're very welcome, Ani!

One more thing...when I first saw the second header, my first impression was that the girl was tied to the think tree she's sitting next to. Again, the girl in your present header looks way more dynamic, strong and self-assured. In fact, the ENTIRE header gives such an incredible feeling of dynamic energy! In contrast, the second header looks more passive and bland. Now that I think of it, I would strongly encourage you to keep the header you now have! It makes me think of a vast vortex of energy at the very center, or core, of the universe! And there's Ani, right next to that vortex!! YAY!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!!

I really do hope you keep your present header! : )

  4. Ooooohh, a typo! I meant to type; "...my first impression was that the girl was tied to the thin tree", not "the think tree"...Lol!
