It was so awfully kind of Janette to drop a comment on my blog, and pass me the Stylish Blogger Award. I'm totally thrilled because this blog is still in its thumb-sucking, helpless infancy! I checked out her site immediately, and her blog is simply captivating (don't you just LOVE that header? It's so drool-worthy)

So, a random 7  things about myself

1) I am an obsessive writer- once I start I don't stop until my fingers threaten they'll fall off
2) I prefer pen to keyboard, and rather hate typing stories on the keyboard.
3) I read Stephen King like some others would read a holy book to be memorized
4) I love sunny days and then those cloudy ones; if anyone lives in Trivandrum they'll know why I have a love-hate relationship with rain
5) I love photoshopping!!!
6) I am, and have been in love with the Harry Potter saga for as long as I can remember
7) I have multiple addictions- paranormal romances, coffee, PS, Diary Milk chocolates and my mobile are just a few of them.

Follow Friday

Do we really need a preface? Anyway, Feature and Follow is by Paranjunkee and Alison Can Read and is all about blog love. Q: Best Cover? What is the best cover of a book that you’ve read and didn’t like? A: Oh, easy peasy. Masque of Red Death by Bethany Griffin. I loved the cover, but I didn't like the book. I couldn't connect with any of the characters, and finally just abandoned it somewhere near the end. I don't even want to know how it ended, or if there is a new book in the series. It wasn't sucky writing or a sucky plot, it just completely failed to make any kind of impact on me. What are your picks? Leave your links, let's share some follower love :)

Bookshelves, Bookshelves, oh my!

So my shelves are all filled! With my little brother and I both buying books left and right, being gifted books, and showered with books from all sides (we are notorious bookworms, I think) our shelves are full. Believe me, this is no simple feat. We have four built-in glass-door wall shelves, two large metal shelves and a smaller wooden shelf in the Library, one blue cutesy shelf in my room and one in my brother's, and there is no place to keep the new books. They're sitting on the floor! (If I could find my camera, I'd photograph them for you!) So we need a new shelf. And while getting one seems unlikely right now (we've just bought a lot of other furniture) looking at glorious bookshelves can't hurt. Right? I would totally love this one. But more for CDs maybe?  So neat!  Yin- Yang. Aren't you gorgeous? squee!! Blue shelves! Gasp, more blue! Now, for the insanely awesome stuff:  Gasp! Can't be real. No way.
