Waiting on Wednesday
Waiting on Wednesday is a bookish meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where you talk about that one book you're just dying to read. This week (first week, really) the book I just can't wait to read is: 'Chasers' by James Phelan (Alone #1) (Atom, 2nd June 2011) Jesse is on a school trip in New York when his subway carriage is rocked by an explosion. When he and three friends crawl out of the wreckage they discover a city in chaos. Streets are deserted. Buildings are in ruins. And the only other survivors seem infected with a virus that turns them into horrifying predators... THE WHY: Love that cover. Love the words on the cover. Love the blurb. I think anything where everything changes suddenly and inexplicably appeals to me enormously. lol.
